Some Great Final Cut Pro X Tutorials

CreativeCow has a few short tutorials for Final Cut Pro X that should get you in the software and working rather quickly. Since 8 out of the 11 or so posts are just complaints and whining about FCPX, I'm going to link straight to the videos themselves.

  1. Kicking the Tires: Lesson 1
  2. Kicking the Tires: Lesson 2
  3. Matching EQ
  4. Working with Keyframes
  5. Taking Projects On the Go

And if you are curious what "Pro" features are there for you now, Apple has a somewhat hidden page listing everything here: Built from the ground up for video editors.

Hey Connor, I'm playing with the surrnuod feature in FCX. I'm not using any video because I do not need video with this project quite yet. I'm trying to import multiple audio tracks and have each one independent of each other and output each sound effect to a different speaker. When the tracks overlap each other the one on the bottom adheres to the top track's surrnuod sound setting rather than be independent. Any idea how to make this work?I was thinking about buying Logic Pro 9 but I do not have the cash right now.
